welcome to monday

Oct 5th, 2009 | 0 comments

No we don’t have a case of Mondays.  The birthdays are over, time to finish this once and for all.

We’re just transferring data, getting the drives together for the final push, to the closing editor.  The time has come .  I will disclose name and pictures (hopefully) of the editor later.

Good times.

the closer

No, not the show on TNT with Kyra Sedgwick as a no nonsense, tough yet vulnerably sexy interrogator (although any woman who can survive the ravages of both the Bacon Brothers’ music AND Bernie Madoff is ok by me, but I digress…).

No, I mean the closing editor we’re looking for.  We’re trying to find someone, a Mariano Rivera to come in and pitch the 9th inning for us, and help us close the film out.  We’re so close… looking at the final shot of the rough cut right now (no spoilers!), but need a closer to preserve the shut out and win game 7.  Tryouts begin next week.  I’d love a Mariano Rivera, but will take a 2004 Keith Foulke.  Clutch.  Or, in an ideal world, a Tug McGraw-Dan Quizenberry hybrid.  Brian’s a Phillies guy, I’m a Royals guy.  It will be 1980 all over again. Ah… the good ol’ days.
